Congress has decided to organise
public rally in every Vidhan Sabha area under its parivartan yatra. The
decision was taken during party’s monthly meeting convened by PCC president
Nandkumar Patel at Congress Bhawan on Monday.
Reviewing party’s membership
campaign, Patel said every PCC office-bearer should involve in the drive and
ensure participation of booth-level workers too.
He asked the party general
secretaries to complete tehsil-gherao programmes in their assigned Lok Sabha
constituencies. He further asked the PCC general secretaries to regularly
submit activity reports of party’s cells and morchas of their assigned area.
He said the booth-level committee
should be constituted by taking inputs from office-bearers of DCCs and BCCs.
The meeting was attended by PCC
treasurer Ramgopal Agrawal, vice presidents – TS Singhdeo, Kawasi Lakhma,
general secretaries – Subhash Sharma, Arun Vora, Bhupesh Baghel, Devvrat Singh,
Vidhan Mishra, Dr Premsai Singh, Fulodevi Netam, Padma Manhar, members – Abdul
Hameed Hayat, Uday Mudliyar, Deepak Dubey, secretaries – Amit Pandey, Shiv
Singh Thakur, Seva Dal organiser Ashok Raj Ahuja, etc.
