Vidya Charan Shukla by convening a meeting on Friday. The cell’s president
Kanhaiyya Agrawal termed Shukla’s demise as a national loss.
He said Shukla was a senior
and wise politician. “Shukla’s intense tours under Congress parivartan yatra in
remote tribal regions showed his dedication towards party and state,” he added.
“Shukla had always played
key role in saving party during its difficult times. People will also remember
his struggle and attempts to establish Chhattisgarh as a state,” Agrawal said.
On the occasion, Agrawal
was accompanied by Atul Raghuvanshi, Tulsi Janghel, Kuldeep Sharma, Ashok
Shivhare, Nischay Bajpayee, Sachin Golchha, Rajesh Kedia, Mohan Verma, Hitesh
Taank, Niranjan Parekh, Atish Sahu, etc.
