Congress has demanded quick commencement of escalator
and travelator in Raipur
The delegation said escalator at platform number 1 and
travelator from platform number 2 to 6 will be of great help for passengers,
especially for women, olds, and disabled.
Mishra informed that he had sent the proposal of
escalator to Railway Board for approval while proposal of travelator would be
approved in three months and its installation work would complete in six
months.
Regarding demand of 24-hour ticket provision at booking
office near platform number 6, Mishra said the timing could not be extended due
to staff scarcity, but assured that soon the facility would be enhanced.
The delegation was comprised of Raipur North
legislator Kuldeep Juneja, corporators Anjali Vibhar, Radheshyam Vibhar, Shiv Singh
Thakur, Shiekh Shakeel, Madan Lal Talda, etc.
