Congress has constituted five-member committee to probe into August 1 Orchha (Narayanpur district) incident that created tension in the region. “The Central Armed Forces (CAF) went berserk after one of the jawan was murdered. The angry jawans fired in the air, thrashed and looted the people at Orchha’s weekly haat bazaar. Considering seriousness of the incident, Congress has decided to inquire into the matter,” informed PCC spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda. The probe team comprises of former MLAs and PCC members Shiv Netam and Manturam Pawar, PCC secretary Rajesh Tiwari, DCC Kondagaon president Shankar Sodhi and DCC Narayanpur president Rajnu Netam.
