Not
long ago, the so-called intellectuals had dubbed entire India as
intolerant and accused Centre for playing communal game. The
dissenting voices were heard from all corners of the country. It
happened in wake of Dadri lynching case. Suddenly, the litterateurs
and artistes had discovered sensitive soul inside them and they
started returning their awards in protest. They said they did so
after hearing voice of their conscience. Fair enough. Now, will they
show similar sentiments in Dr Pankaj Narang's lynching in Vikaspuri,
Delhi? No. Because, they know there is no scope to drag the Centre
into vicious game again in Narang's episode. Why, just because Narang
was a Hindu? Or, the idiot bunch is well aware that the Center was
never in the scene - neither in Vikaspuri, nor in Dadri?
Boy!
The entire game is of playing a politics of convenience for own
advantage. That time, the hue and cry on Dadri helped anti-BJPians to
insert Muslim card in Bihar polls and they succeeded in obtaining
anticipated result by doing so, although there were other factors,
too, which played deciding role in swinging the voters from Bhagwa
brigade to Lalu-Nitish combine.
In
Narang's case, the secular and intellectual lot predicted the outcome
beforehand. In fact, they knew that there is no such card called
Hindu card in Indian politics and nobody is going to get benefited by
it in ensuing elections in four states and one union territory.
Pankaj
Narang was ruthlessly killed in front of his house and in presence of
his family members at Vikaspuri in Delhi. The incident followed his
heated exchange with two persons in motorcycle as the latter
threatened him of dire consequences.
Narang
first made a couple of calls to police for help, but the great Delhi
police couldn't respond because of busy network. He then rushed to
Janakpuri district centre with hope to catch a PCR van, but the
destiny had something else for him on March 23, 2016 night.
Nine
people dragged Narang from his home and thrashed him with sticks and
rods till his death. Since four out of nine were juveniles, the Delhi
court sent them to correctional home while the remaining five were
sent to Tihar jail.
Now
see who were the five adults – Naseer, Maesar, Amir, Ameer and
Gopal. The secular politicians (apparently the self-declared bastions
of democracy) and idiotic bunch of intellectuals took a sigh of
relief that nobody can now give the incident a communal hue as there
were both Hindus and Muslims among accused. Nobody knows the fifth
accused Gopal was actually Gopal or somebody else.
Strange!
They cry and shout for Akhlaq, they cry and shout for Rohith Vemula,
but they become stolid when Pankaj Narang dies. What a hypocrisy? How
come their emotions burst for some and vanish for others? Similar is
attitude of the media – it gives hype to some incidents and
downplays others.
Its
high time India identified the hypocrites and presstitutes so that
they may not play with its emotions and disturb the communal harmony
in future.
