CM eyes hat trick on basis of fake survey reports: Hariprasada

Raipur, October 01, 2013

AICC general secretary and Chhattisgarh Congress incharge BK Hariprasada says chief minister Raman Singh is eyeing to make a hat trick in state on the basis of fake survey reports.
“The BJP is adopting various methods to woo voters. Every day, it is issuing fake survey report and claiming to regain power for third consecutive time. The people of Chhattisgarh know that the incumbent government never bothered about them in last ten years. Hence, they have made their mindset and waiting for their turn to come,” said Hariprasada, who arrived here from New Delhi on Tuesday evening to participate in the party’s farmers’ conventions at Janjgir and Ambikapur on Wednesday and Thursday.

“The CM released brahmastra by conspiring to kill Congress leaders through Maoists on May 25, 2013. Now, the people will release their brahmastra in the Vidhan Sabha elections,” he added.

He said the Congress was confident of wining upcoming assembly polls as its activities had intensified in the recent past. “In last ten years, the Congress played role of a responsible opposition in state by raising all the issues pertaining to public. The party will organise series of events in October to interact with people. This time, the Congress will not miss the bus,” he added.

Asked when would the party declare its poll candidates, he said names had already been shortlisted and soon the central election committee would make formal announcement.
