Congress will organise farmers’ convention under its ‘Congress lao Chhattisgarh bachao’ campaign at Janjgir on Wednesday.
The convention will be prominently attended by AICC general secretary and Chhattisgarh Congress incharge BK Hariprasada, PCC chief Charandas Mahant, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and other senior leaders. In the convention the party raise issues like land acquisition by government for industrialists, Rs 270 paddy bonus and free electricity up to five HP promised to the farmers by the government, etc.
The Congress leaders will also tell the benefits of Centre’s new amended land acquisition law that also makes provision for rehabilitation and resettlement of displaced persons.
