Congress will organise several programmes against state government under its ‘Congress lao Chhattisgarh bachao’ campaign in its district and block headquarters in October 2013.
PCC spokesperson Ghanshyam Raju Tiwari informed that the party would protest against government for ignoring public grievances on October 1, observe Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary and take out torch rally on October 2, launch signature campaign against government on October 7, burn government’s effigy on October 10, distribute pamphlets against Raman Singh government on October 15, launch pardafash abhiyan on October 19, protest government’s policies and burn effigy on October 23, organise public awareness programme on October 25, launch chhal ujagar abhiyan on October 27, observe October 30 as dhikkar diwas and observe Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s birth anniversary and former PM Indira Gandhi’s death anniversary on October 31.
Meanwhile, the Congress will also organise farmers’ conventions in Janjgir and Ambikapur on October 2 and 3 under its drive.
