Congress will stage dharna against government on host of issues in all its 199 blocks from 12-3 pm on Wednesday.
After dharna, the Congmen in every block will submit memorandum to local government authorities.
The PCC spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda informed that PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and all senior party leaders will participate in block-level dharna programme.
In dharna, the party will raise issues like hiked power tariff, black marketing of fertilisers, handing over of Bhatgaon-II and Bhatgaon-II extension coal blocks to Sancheti brothers for commercial mining and exploration, pending payment of Rs 270 paddy bonus to the farmers, etc.
“The block-level dharna will be followed by tehsil-gherao programmes in November and December. We will raise the same issues including the local ones to attack the government,” Chhabda said.
