Raipur, October 31, 2012

Police on Wednesday arrested large number of Youth Indian National Trade Union Congress (YINTUC) activists near Subhash stadium while they were heading towards Rajbhawan in the form of rally with their demand to dissolve Raman Singh-government.

Later, a 15-member delegation of YINTUC led by organisation’s state president Aijaz Dhebar was allowed to submit a memorandum to Governor’s representative.

Earlier, the rally was flagged off from Congress Bhawan by PCC president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and RMC mayor Kiranmayi Nayak.

Addressing the rally, Dhebar alleged the BJP government, instead of carrying out developmental works in the state, was deeply engaged in corruption.
He said the government had no right to remain in power as it was responsible for making the Chhattisgarh a corruption hub.

The prominent YINTUC members who participated in the rally were Rahul Shukla, Alok Pandey, Afroz Anjum, Faheem Khan, Roshan Shrivas, Naved Usmani, Pradeep Kshatriya, Manoj Nirmalkar, Sujeet Mandal, Nandu Sinha, Toran Sinha, etc.
