Protesting inauguration of Rajyotsav by BJP president Nitin Gadkari, the NSUI members set ablaze his effigy at Budhapara-based dharna spot on Thursday.
“Sancheti brothers got Bhatgaon-II and Bhatgaon-II extension coal blocks on recommendation of Gadkari. For this deal, Gadkari got mega bucks. He name also flashed in Maharashtra’s irrigation scam. Besides, the shareholders of his firm – Purti Group of Companies were found fake. We condemn the government for inviting such a tainted person to inaugurate the state festival which is linked with the sentiments of people,” said the NSUI state vice president Subodh Haritwal.
On the occasion, Haritwal was accompanied by Naushad Khan, Ramneet Arora, Avinash Sharma, Kanhaiyya Sharma, Harshvardhan, Ayush, Chenu Pandey, Doman Sahu, Gambheer, Shantanu Shukla, etc.
