The Youth Congress (YC) has demanded for closure of illegal crackers shops in the city. In this regard, a delegation of YC members led by their Raipur Lok Sabha general secretary submitted a memorandum to Raipur Collector on Friday.
“With Diwali ahead, several illegal cracker shops have appeared in busy areas of the capital city including Ramsagarpara, Badhaipara, Phool chowk, Edward road, Gol Bazar, etc. These shopkeepers do not have licence to sell crackers. The district administration should immediately close such illegal shops as huge stock of crackers can cause mishap during festival,” said Mishra.
On the occasion, Mishra was accompanied by Santi Chawla, Amarprakash Kurre, Sanju Thakur, Nagendra Singh, Sagar Paraswar, Arif Ansari, Krishna Kashyap, Harish Bagh, etc.
