The members of Pradesh Mahila Congress (PMC) paid tribute to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi by garlanding her statue at Kalibadi chowk on Wednesday.
Later, they distributed fruits in leprosy colony and daily-use items at Shyam Nagar-based old age home.
The prominent PMC members present on both the occasions were organisation’s president Ambika Markam, Nivedita Chaterjee, Chhaya Verma, Chandrawati Sahu, Asha Joseph, Bhojkumari Yadu, Babita Natthani, Rekha Ramteke, Anamika Sahu, Ajanta Kaviraj, etc.
