Congress monitoring committee will scan progress of MNREGA and other Central schemes in Janjgir-Champa and Korba on May 30 and 31 respectively. While PCC president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey will remain present in the monitoring panel meetings in both the districts, the Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industry Charandas Mahant is likely to attend the committee’s Korba meeting.
According to information, besides conducting meeting at district headquarters, the panel will also convene meetings at every block of both the districts. In this connection, the committee chairman Arvind Netam has assigned responsibilities to the members to hold meetings in different blocks.
On May 30, the first meeting will be organised at Shivrinarayan under Janjgir-Champa district.
Meanwhile, the blocks where the members who would interact with the partymen and locals are – Nawagarh – Chaneshram Rathiya, Radhelal Thawait, Tanya Anuragi, Dinesh Sharma, Motilal Dewangan, Akaltara – Tarun Chaterjee, Manishankar Gurudan, Raghuraj Prasad Pandey, Chunnilal Sahu, Bamnidih – Ghanaram Sahu, Devvrat Singh, Rajendra Shukla, Subhash Dhuppad, Motilal Dewangan, Pamgarh – Imran Memon, Ratiram Kaushik, Gopal Thawait, Gorelal Barman and Baloda – Gulab Singh, Ramgopal Ratre, Chunnilal Sahu, Saroja Rathore, Kanhaiyya Rathore.
Similarly, the meeting in Sakti will be taken by Devcharan Madhukar, Jageshwar Kanwar, Manharan Rathore, Malkharauda – Chandraprakash Bajpayee, Jeetendra Vijay Bahadur Singh, Mohanmani Jatwar, Ravi Bhardwaj, Jaijaipur – Ganesh Shankar Bajpayee, Bheem Chandra, Mahant Ramsundar Das, Dabhra – Yogeshwar Raj Singh, Rama Mahant, Ajay Patel, Yashwant Kumar Chandra, Janjgir-Naila – Jhitruram Baghel, Vivek Singh Sisodia, Vedprakash Sharma, Motilal Dewangan, Sakti Nagar – Chainsingh Samle, Shaila Shrivastava, Surendra Bahadur Singh, Saroja Rathore, Anju Rathore, Champa Nagar – Somprakash Giri, Banwari Lal Sharma, Motilal Dewangan, Mohammad Ibrahim Memon, Motilal Dewangan and Akaltara Nagar – Fulodevi Netam, Ashalata Singh, Dr Rakesh Kumar Singh, Laxman Mukeem and Chunnilal Sahu.
On May 31, the meeting at Korba will be attended by Fulodevi Netam, Jhitruram Baghel, Phool Singh Rathiya, Shyamlal Kanwar, Surendra Pratap Jaiswal, Usha Tiwari, and Jaisingh Agrawal.
