The national president of Azadi Ka Antim Andolan (AKAA) Imran Pasha and has held Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee for weakening Indian economy.
Terming both the PM and FM as pawns in hands of United States of America (USA), Pasha and the organisation’s national general secretary Anil Goyal alleged that the duo, under pressure of foreign countries, had conspired to negatively impact the agriculture sector by increasing the steeply hiking the prices of fertilisers.
“The consequence of the planned of move of PM and FM would appear in coming months when country would witness low production of Kharif crops this year,” they said.
They said despite knowing that the country’s economy still depends on agriculture sector the Centre took anti-farmer decisions and raised the cost of farm-related items.
They apprehend that the inflation in the country would increase further and result into circumstances like starvation and unemployment. They have appealed to electors, who are eligible to vote for presidential post, to refrain from supporting Pranab Mukherjee for his anti-people policies.
