About nine BJPians from Narayanpur joined Congress on Monday. The formal announcement of their joining was done in presence of PCC vice president Kawasi Lakhma, general secretary Devvrat Singh, Kisan Congress convenor Digvijay Singh Kridutt and party spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi.
Later Trivedi informed that the nine BJPians left their party because they were ignored and insulted by their own leaders. “Another decision for their defection to Congress is its increased activity and policy to heed workers,” he said.
The nine BJPians who defected to Congress are Virat Ramkar, Punau Ram Kashyap, Prem Sagar Panth, Shyam Sundar, Narendra Dewangan, Munna Pandey, Gannu, Ankush Sharma and Vikrant Ramkar.
