Shala Pravesh Utsav begins today

To encourage parents to admit their children from 6-14 years of age in schools the government will once again commence month-long statewide Shala Pravesh Utsav (SPU) from Saturday. The campaign will conclude on July 15. School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal will attend SPU in RD Tiwari Government High School Kho-Kho Para Purani Basti at 1 pm on Saturday. The admission festival programme will be chaired by RMC Mayor Kiranmayi Nayak. On the occasion, Raipur Rural MLA Nandkumar Sahu, Raipur zila panchayat president Laxmi Verma, Raipur Development Authority chairman Sunil Soni, RMC Speaker Sanjay Shrivastava and leader of BJP corporators at RMC Subhash Tiwari will remain present as special guests.
