Congress on Thursday said
the all-party meeting called upon by state government to discuss on naxal issue
failed to produce any result as was expected.
“The Congress was never in favour of
attending this meeting as it was convened by the government which faces charges
of criminal conspiracy in wake of May 25 Darbha incident,” said PCC
spokesperson Sushil Anand Shukla.
“In
democracy, the significance of opposition is equal to ruling party but in
Chhattisgarh the BJP conspired to wipe the opposition by not providing
sufficient security to parivartan yatra,” he alleged.
