Congress on Saturday said
people of Rajnandgaon wanted Gujarat chief
minister Narendra Modi to tell facts about Chhattisgarh’s BJP government
instead of praising it falsely. Modi, who was on a brief visit to state to
attend CM Raman Singh’s rally under government’s vikas yatra in Rajnandgaon on
Saturday, drew flak from state Congress for using the forum to attack Centre on
different issues.
“Modi
could have tendered apology to people as his party’s government in state failed
to give good governance and is responsible for grafts and scams prevailed in
the system,” said state Congress president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader
Ravindra Choubey.
“Modi
says that Congress would not be able to form government in any state but he
forgot that recently we won public mandate in Karnataka, Kerala, Assam,
Meghalaya, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh,” they reminded.
