Chhattisgarh Sanyukta Morcha (CSM) has strongly objected over use of
BJP symbol lotus in state government’s vikas yatra. In this connection, a delegation
of CSM submitted memorandum to chief election officer Sunil Kujur on Wednesday.
The
delegation said use of the BJP’s political symbol lotus and presence of its
leaders in government’s yatra was objectionable. The delegation pointed that
the ruling party was also politicising vikas yatra by misusing public money.
The
delegation said the BJP was misusing power to take advantage in assembly
elections slated to be held in November-December 2013 in state. It demanded derecognition
of BJP as a political party and seizure of its symbol lotus.
While
submitting memorandum, the CSM members also had heated exchange with Kujur.
