The YC members celebrated Congress victory in Karnataka assembly polls
by bursting crackers and distributing sweets at Jaistambh chowk on Wednesday.
The
state YC vice president Deepak Mishra said Karnataka victory confirmed that
people had accepted Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.
“The
people have put trust on Gandhi instead of Gujarat
chief minister Narendra Modi. While the Congress won all the assembly seats
where Gandhi addressed public rallies, the BJP faced embarrassing loss in those
areas where Modi campaigned for his party,” he added.
He
said after Karnataka the Congress would post victory in Chhattisgarh assembly
elections too.
On
the occasion, Mishra was accompanied by Rajendra Bagga, Milind Gautam, Renu
Mishra, Purushottam Pandit, Sheikh Musheer, Indrajeet Singh Rajput, Khilesh
Dewangan, NSUI district vice presidents Bhavesh Shukla and Akash Sharma, etc.
