Raipur, May 01, 2013
Congress has once amended fourth and fifth phases of its
parivartan yatra. Now, yatra’s fourth phase will be held from May 23 to 29 and
fifth phase from June 2 to 9.
According to yatra’s media coordinator
Jaswant Claudius amendment in yatra programmes was done for convenience of
Congress leaders including CLP leader Ravindra Choubey who would be busy in
marriage and social programmes from May 13 to 22.
Claudius said another reason for changing
yatra schedule was Akshay Tritiya that would be on May 13. In Chhattisgarh,
Akshay Tritiya is considered as most auspicious day for conducting marriage.
Claudius said the villagers too would be busy in marriage and family ceremonies
from Akshay Tritiya to some 10-12 days, hence the party decided to start fourth
