Congress on Saturday said by rebuking his own partymen during BJP’s
state executive meet chief minister Raman Singh proved that the BJPians were
engaged in grafts for past nine years.
“This
is the second time the CM had expressed his annoyance over activities of his
partymen in party’s significant meeting. This is happening for last two terms.
The BJP leaders are indulged in corruption under protection of those at the
helm while workers are being ignored,” said Congress spokesperson Sushil Anand
Shukla.
“The
BJP workers too are upset with their government’s performance. They know that
the BJP government’s corrupt face has been exposed before public hence they are
hesitant in going to people despite frequent appeals by the CM,” he added.
Indicating
that the BJP lacked coordination from top to bottom, Shukla said even the
ruling party’s national joint general secretary (organisation) Saudan Singh was
compelled to direct the CM and other ministers to listen to the workers for
next six months.
Shukla
jeered at BJP’s top brasses for putting deaf ear towards own partymen and
people for nine years and suddenly changing stance and terming workers as backbone
of the party before polls.
