The second phase of Congress kalash yatra will commence from Dongargarh on Sunday. The yatra will start from Ma Bamleshwari temple where Congmen will first offer prayers in the morning. On the occasion, AICC treasurer Motilal Vora, acting PCC president Charandas Mahant, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, party’s programme coordinator Bhupesh Baghel and other senior party leaders will remain present.
At 11 am the yatra will travel in the city and then the party will organise a public meeting at Gol Bazar.
The yatra will reach Lal Bahadur Nagar at 3 pm on Sunday. At 4 pm, the yatra will reach Chhuriya at 4 pm, Gendatola – 5:30 pm, Chirchari Shaheedgram – 6:30 pm and Chowki – 7 pm (all under Khujji VS area).
On July 8, the yatra will reach Mohla (Mohla Manpur VS area) at 11 am, Kumarda (Khujji VS area) – 1 am, Dongargaon VS area – 4 pm and Rajnandgaon VS area – 6 pm.
On July 9 and 10, the yatra will travel in Rajnandgaon urban and rural parts. On July 11, the yatra will cover Gathula, Beri, Tilai and Khelkadih under Khairagarh VS area.
On July 12, the yatra will cover Chhuikhadan, Gandai and Sahaspur Lohara under Kawardha VS area. On July 13, the yatra will cover Poundi under Pandaria assembly constituency.
