Dynasty system prevails in BJP, not Cong: Chhabda

Raipur, July 31, 2013

Reacting to chief minister Raman Singh’s remark on Congress during Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha’s (BJYM) recent conference, PCC spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda dynasty system was predominant in BJP, not Congress.

“The CM should first express concern over increasing dynasty system in his own party. There are several BJP leaders who have projected their family members for different posts in the party and government. Even the CM himself is planning to launch his son Abhishek in politics. He has gifted the post of vice chancellor of Ayush University to his relative Dr GB Gupta,” said Chhabda.

“The ruling party has given different posts to BJP leader Leelaram Bhojwani’s son Raja, Gaurishankar Agrawal’s son Nitin, Purandar Mishra’s son Piyush, Yashwant Rao Meghawale’s son Prabhat in BJYM,” he said.
“Besides, Raipur Lok Sabha MP Ramesh Bais’ brother Shyam got post of chairman in Beej Vikas Nigam while his nephews Onkar and Akhilesh have been inducted in the organisation,” he pointed.

He said the BJP had always ignored its dedicated workers and given priority to relatives of party leaders.
