Cong to induct Darbha survivors in organisation

Congress will induct partymen, who survived in Darbha incident, in the organisation in coming days. The assurance was given by acting PCC president Charandas Mahant during a meeting at Congress Bhawan on Saturday. The meeting was attended by parivartan yatra participants, especially those who were eye witness of May 25 naxal attack on yatra convoy. Mahant held two more meetings of party general secretaries and former MLAs.
He informed that about 38 attended the meeting of parivartan yatra participants. On absence of Konta MLA Kawasi Lakhma from the meeting he said the former had informed him in advance about his scheduled tour to his legislative assembly area. In the meeting, Mahant said the party would also ensure how the parivartan yatra participants could contribute in kalash yatra slated to be taken out on Juny 4 from Rajim.
In the meeting with PCC general secretaries who are also incahrge of Lok Sabha constituencies, Mahant instructed them to prepare schedules of senior leaders to participate in kalash yatra.
In the meeting with former legislators he said everyone’s participation in party activities would be ensured and each of them would get a key responsibility. He asked them prepare list of the demands of their respective constituencies so that all the points could be considered while making party’s election manifesto.
On Pradesh Mahila (PMC) Congress meeting he said the meeting was fruitful and the state Congress would ensure that PMC members actively participate in its events.
