Senior Congress leader Satyanarayan Sharma says the ruling BJP is misusing government machinery to save chief minister Raman Singh and four other ministers - Brijmohan Agrawal, Amar Agrawal, Ramvichar Netam and Rajesh Munat in connection to Indira Priyadarshini Bank scam.
“While IG GP Singh immediately came into defence of CM and four ministers by talking to media, former registrar of Swami Vivekanand Technical University Ashok Kumar Dubey has taken statement of bank’s former president Reeta Tiwari in government’s favour by offering her spouse Harshvardhan the post of chairman in university regulatory commission,” Sharma said while talking to media persons at Congress Bhawan on Tuesday.
He said Dubey was involved in sports complex scam in Naya Raipur. “When I was education minister, Dubey had approached me to get the post of district education officer, but I did not entertain him. Now he is working for BJP government,” he added.
