Senior Congress legislator Ajit Jogi on Saturday said the BJP
government’s smartcard scheme, aimed to provide medical treatment facility to every
family, had completely failed as private hospitals were refusing to accept such
cards.
Notably, the government is providing smartcard to every family under its
Mukhyamantri Swasthya Bima Yojna.
Under the scheme, the cardholder can avail medical
treatment facility up to Rs 30000 in any of the government listed hospitals.
