The members of Pradesh
Mahila Congress (PMC) on Monday brunt effigies of Lok Sabha member from Durg
constituency Saroj Pandey and chairperson of Chhattisgarh State Women
Commission Vibha Rao for their controversial remarks.
The PMC said while the
BJP government had failed to prevent rape incidents in state its leaders
including Pandey and Rao were engaged in giving objectionable statements.
The
effigies of Pandey and Rao were burnt by PMC members Asha Joseph, Anita
Kosaria, Buleshwari Verma, Meena Yusuf, Achla Bai, Chandralekha, Saroj Verma,
Bhagwati, Anita Masih, Anjali, Sheetal, Manju Dubey, etc.
