Veteran Congress leader Vidya Charan Shukla on Tuesday
clarified that his party was in no mood to project a chief ministerial
candidate for upcoming assembly polls.
He said the Congress would contest Vidhan
Sabha elections under unified leadership and the CM would be selected by Congress
legislators’ party when the party would in majority.
He said the party would fight next polls
on two significant issues – corruption and non-existence of the government in
state. He claimed that Congress managed to win public favour through parivartan
yatra.
