Raipur, April 16, 2013
Congress parivartan yatra will reach three assembly
constituencies – Jashpur, Kunkuri and Patthalgaon on Wednesday. Through yatra,
the party aims to increase its vote bank by targeting state government on
different issues including corruption, law and order, increasing rape
incidents, coalgate, naxalism, eye camp incidents, hysterectomy cases in
government camps, etc.
Under yatra, the party has by far
organised public rallies in Ambikapur, Bhatgaon, Ramanujganj, Pratappur,
Bharatpur-Sonhat, Baikunthpur, Manendragarh, Premnagar, Samri, Lundra and
Sitapur Vidhan Sabha areas.
In first phase of its yatra, the party
will organise public rallies in 16 assembly areas in seven days. The yatra’s
first phase will conclude at Dharamjaigarh on April 18.
The party claims of receiving massive
response from public despite specific faction playing spoilsport during its
rallies.
The yatra was launched by AICC treasurer
Motilal Vora in presence of Chhattisgarh Congress incharge BK Hariprasada,
union minister of state Charandas Mahant and other senior leaders of the state
on April 12. On April 15, the party rally in Surajpur (Premnagar VS area) was
addressed by AICC spokesperson and MP Sandeep Dixit.
According to information, the state unit
is also in talks with its national leaders regarding their participation in the
yatra in coming days.
