Senior Congress legislator Ajit Jogi has sought Rs one
crore from state government to walk on elegs. While taking to media person on
Monday Jogi pointed that chief minister Raman Singh had announced of incurring
his entire treatment cost after his accident but he did not avail the facility
at that time.
He informed that the elegs would be
imported from abroad and its cost including treatment would be around Rs 90
lakh.
He took a trial of elegs for 10-15 minutes
at his residence in presence of doctors on Monday. The trial will be conducted
twice a day for about a week. According to information, the doctors are likely
to allow him walk on elegs after trial period, i.e. from April 29 – when he
will celebrate his birth anniversary.
Jogi has expressed a desire to first meet
people of his legislative constituency Marwahi walking on his elegs.
Thereafter, he wished to offer prayers to Mahamaya devi at Ratanpur, Giroudpuri
and Lutrashareef.
