Congress workers of Kalimata ward on Monday distributed
sherbet to alcoholists who had come to purchase liquor from the liquor shop
based at ward.
The DCC Raipur Urban Kalimata ward
president Amitesh Bhardwaj said despite continuous request to district
administration to remove liquor shops being operated near academic institutions
and religious places, no action has been taken by far.
On the occasion, Bhardwaj was accompanied
by Ajanta Kaviraj, Nitin Bhansali, Sanjay Soni, Sattu Singh, Sunil Chatwani,
Viju Banjare, Sayyed Hussein, Damodar Bagh, etc.
