These days, the state governments have started a new trend of distributing laptops to students. I reckon the students need jobs, not laptops. Isn't it a high time to check braindrain in states?
If you are in power, create jobs - be it in government departments or in private sector. Develop infrastructure. Take effective measures for this.
Once a student gets job, he will buy the laptop of his own choice.
Dear governments, don't play politics with students. If you really want to shape their career, secure their future by creating job opportunities.
