BJP govt tops in PDS bribery: Cong

The Congress says that all the boastings of BJP government regarding its public distribution system (PDS) have proved to be wrong as one of national magazines has put Chhattisgarh right on top among the states with highest PDS bribery cases.

Citing comparative analysis of twenty states done by this magazine, the PCC spokespersons Sushil Anand Shukla and Rajesh Bissa on Friday said that the state had been placed on 16^th position on the scale of overall progress.

“The survey report is an eye opener for the people of Chhattisgarh as it shows dismal picture of the state,” the duo said.

“This is the same magazine which had placed the state on top among highest GDP rate-achieving states. On the basis of this magazine’s report, the government had then spent huge amount of money in advertising its achievement. But now, the same magazine narrates a different story about the state. The state is either on 19^th or 20^th position in providing education, health facilities, infrastructure, irrigation facilities, financial management, etc,” the duo said.
