A delegation of Congress member led by DCC Raipur City president Inderchand Dhariwal on Wednesday submitted a memorandum to Collector Rohit Yadav seeking quick reduction in the rates of building materials. The delegation urged the Collector to hold meeting of cement manufacturers and building material suppliers in next 48 hours and ask them to reduce rates. “The Collector has assured us to take necessary steps in bringing down high rates of building materials,” Dhariwal said.
