HUDCO chairman VP Baligar on Wednesday paid courtesy visit to Chief Secretary P Joy Oommen. He offered loan to the state government for its development schemes at low interest rates. He also proposed loan for construction of new offices and staff quarters in nine newly formed districts. Baligar informed that HUDCO and state government were jointly working on night shelter project at Naya Raipur. HUDCO will also help the government in opening skill enhancement centres in Naya Raipur. The unemployed youth will get training in these centres in different trades to become self-reliant. On the occasion, Commissioner Chhattisgarh Housing Board (CHB) Sonmani Bora, NRDA GM LK Panigrahi and senior officials of CHB and NRDA were also present.
