Congress legal and
human rights department paid tribute to veteran party leader Vidya Charan
Shukla at party’s state office on Friday.
Terming Shukla as pride of
the country, the department said people would never forget his works.
Senior advocates commemorated
his public welfare works and policies. They said Shukla was patron of every
family of Chhattisgarh. They said the naxals who killed Shukla and other
Congmen should not be spared.
The department’s state
general secretary Manoj Singh Thakur, who was closely linked to Shukla, said
the veteran leader was ideal politician and had always worked for public
welfare.
