Chhattisgarh Sikh Sewa Sangthan (CSSS) has felicitated president of
Bastar Parivahan Sangh Malkeet Singh Gedu who saved lives of eight persons who
sustained grave injuries during naxal attack on Congress parivartan yatra at
Jiram valley in Darbha region on May 25, 2013.
The
CSSS had invited AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh and CLP leader Ravindra
Choubey to felicitate Gedu.
The
chief advisor of CSSS Gurjeet Singh Sandhu informed that Gedu himself got
sustained bullet injury during naxal attack but he courageously rescued eight
persons by instantly taking to them to Maharani Hospital Jagdalpur in his
four-wheeler.
The
CSSS members present during felicitation ceremony were Sukhdev Singh Siddhu,
Gyani Balvinder Singh, Santi Chawla, Kulvinder Singh, Malooka Singh, Kuldeep
Singh Gill, raju Sharma, Gurdeep Singh, Govind Singh, etc.
