AICC secretary Priya Dutt
paid tribute to deceased party leaders at Congress Bhawan on Thursday. She said
all the leaders sacrificed their lives for country.
She said people would never forget sacrifice of the deceased
Congmen. She appealed to the workers and leaders to bolster the party and win
upcoming polls.
Union minister of state and acting PCC chief Charandas Mahant
said the Congress workers were still in deep shock after May 25-incident.
CLP leader Ravindra Choubey said the naxal attack on Congress
parivartan yatra convoy had weakened the party. She urged Dutt to come to state
every month to infuse new energy in party workers.
On the occasion were present Raipur North MLA Kuldeep Juneja,
RMC mayor Kiranmayi Nayak, DCC Raipur Urban president Inderchand Dhariwal. DCC
Raipur Rural president Pankaj Sharma, Amit Pandey, Ghanshyam Raju Tiwari,
Subhash Dhuppad, etc.
