treasurer Motilal Vora said Vidya Charan Shukla had created his unique image in
Indian politics. Vora said he was deeply hurt by Shukla’s demise and unable to
describe his feeling in words.
“Shukla was a senior party leader. During hard
times, the party had sought his opinion. His contribution in Chhattisgarh
politics was immense,” he said.
Vora remembered how enthusiastic Shukla was
when Congress parivartan yatra commenced from Ambikapur. “Both of us were in
same car. He was looking forward to attend maximum rallies under yatra,” Vora
added.
