AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh will attend tribute programme of deceased
Congress leaders at Raipur
on June 6. Notably, the state Congress has decided to organise tribute programme
in all district headquarters on June 6 and block headquarters on June 7.
In
this connection, the party’s programme coordinator Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday
talked to all Lok Sabha incharge general secretaries pertaining to preparation
of tribute programme in their respective areas.
Union
minister of state and acting PCC president Charandas Mahant has reportedly
asked DCC presidents to ensure local office-bearers remain present during the
tribute programme. The party’s MLAs, former MLAs and elected public representatives
will also attend the tribute programme in their district headquarters.
