No NIA report issued, BJP creating rumour: Cong

Launching fresh attack on BJP government on recently surfaced national investigation agency’s (NIA) report on May 25 Darbha attack Congress on Tuesday said no such report had been disclosed by the probe agency and it was just a rumour created by the government to shift blame on to principal opposition members.

The so-called NIA report was prominently highlighted by the media on June 3. In this report, the NIA had underscored four Congmen as prime suspects in naxal attack on parivartan yatra. 

Providing a copy of rejoinder issued by NIA’s DIG (Intelligence, Operations and Policy) Sajid Farid Shapoo regarding spuriousness of report, the acting PCC president Charandas Mahant and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey said the rumour created by the BJP government against principal opposition confirmed its involvement into the incident.

According to Shapoo’s rejoinder the investigation is in its initial stage and no report has been called ministry of home affairs in this regard.
