In alleged issuance of fake marksheet by Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) to a student who did not even filled an examination form, the NSUI gheraoed the board office on Tuesday. In this connection, they also submitted a memorandum to the board Secretary and demanded to register criminal offence against the guilty official.
“The board Secretary heeded us seriously and has assured to take appropriate action against soon,” said NSUI’s former state general secretary Amit Sharma and Raipur district vice president Bhavesh Shukla.
“The CGBSE has become synonym of controversy as cases of irregularities frequently appear in the board despite its claims of adopting transparency in all works,” the duo said.
“How can the board commit such a blunder? The student was pursuing class 12th studies through correspondence, but he neither paid exam fee nor filled the exam form. However, the board officials Sanjay Raut issued fake marksheet on his name declaring him pass with first class marks. He might have issued many more fake marksheets to the students in the past,” they added.
They doubted that a large racket including ministers and top officials of CGBSE was being active in issuance of fake marksheets to the students.
“Earlier, the board had constituted a committee to probe into the allegations against Raut and it found him guilty. However, the board did not take any action against him. Now, it is high time to register criminal case against him,” they said.
The duo also demanded from the board Secretary to inquire into the matter of distribution of answer sheets with same serial number as well as photocopies of question papers many in exam centres.
They warned of gheraoing the board office again if their demands would be ignored. “We will also submit memorandum to School Education Minister in this regard,” they added.
On the occasion, they were accompanied by Dinesh Mishra, Abhay Thakur, Ashish Dwivedi, Akhilesh Joshi, Anil Yadav, Rakesh Sharma, Sumit Sarkar, Vishnu Sharma, Parvez, Manish, Abhijeet, Saurabh Kapoor, Nitish, Abhishek, etc.
