NSUI demands probe into Rs 3 cr graft in CTBC

The NSUI has demanded high-level probe into Rs three crore graft in Chhattisgarh Textbook Corporation (CTBC) in 2009-10. In this connection, the NSUI members led by their national delegate and Raipur district incharge Nikhil Dwivedi demonstrated aggressively against the corporation on Wednesday. They shouted slogans against the CTBC and demanded removal of guilty officials.
Dwivedi informed that the corporation officials had done corruption in publication of Multi Grade-Multi Level (MGML) cards. “The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) had given the job of publishing MGML cards to CTBC at the cost of Rs three crore but the payment was done to the tune of Rs 6.15 crore,” Dwivedi said.
“The NSUI will not allow the corrupt officials of the CTBC to pay with the future of the students. We demand high-level probe into the matter followed by arrest of the guilty officials,” he said.
The NSUI members who demonstrated along with Dwivedi before the CTBC were Akash Sharma, Bhavesh Shukla, Sumit Sao, Vaibhav Shukla, Amit Sharma, Abhijeet Sharma, etc.
