The NSUI has demanded high-level probe into
Rs three crore graft in Chhattisgarh Textbook Corporation (CTBC) in 2009-10. In
this connection, the NSUI members led by their national delegate and Raipur district incharge
Nikhil Dwivedi demonstrated aggressively against the corporation on Wednesday.
They shouted slogans against the CTBC and demanded removal of guilty officials.
Dwivedi informed that the corporation officials had
done corruption in publication of Multi Grade-Multi Level (MGML) cards. “The State
Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) had given the job of publishing
MGML cards to CTBC at the cost of Rs three crore but the payment was done to
the tune of Rs 6.15 crore,” Dwivedi said.
“The NSUI will not allow the corrupt officials of the
CTBC to pay with the future of the students. We demand high-level probe into
the matter followed by arrest of the guilty officials,” he said.
The NSUI members who demonstrated along with Dwivedi
before the CTBC were Akash Sharma, Bhavesh Shukla, Sumit Sao, Vaibhav Shukla, Amit
Sharma, Abhijeet Sharma, etc.
