The officials of the Health department informed that scholarships would be distributed to the children during a programme at one of the hotels of capital city on October 31. The programme would be organised by State Health Resource Centre (SHRC) and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). The officials said that the government had made several provisions for mitanins under MMKK and scholarship was one of them. Each student will receive scholarship to the tune of Rs 1200 per annum. The scholarship would be given to the students from class 9th to 12th.
