The PCC president Nandkumar Patel on Saturday met Congress chief Sonia Gandhi at her residential office in New Delhi on Saturday. This was Patel’s first meeting with party supremo after he assumed office as state unit head. In the brief meeting, Patel informed Gandhi about party’s activities in the state. He also invited her to visit Chhattisgarh. According to information, Gandhi has given permission to Patel to buy new car the cost of which would be incurred by the party. After his meting with Gandhi, Patel received a cheque of Rs 9.25 lakh for car.
