Ramesh Warlyani nominated as one of SBI directors



Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee has nominated former MLA and PCC general secretary Ramesh Warlyani as one SBI board of directors. Warlyani’s area of work will be Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh circle.
The president of Chhattisgarh Laghu and Sahayak Udyog Sangh (CLSUS) Harish Kedia, president of Urla Industrial Association (UIA) Vivek Ranjan Gupta, president of Sponge Iron Udyog Sangh Anil Nachrani, president of Mini Steel Association Ashok Surana and patron of Bhilai Sahayak Udyog Sangh KK Jha jointly hailed the nomination of Warlyani as SBI director and hoped that not only the bank’s services would expand during his tenure, but the bank-related problems of small scale industries would also be dealt rapidly.
The industrial associations urged Warlyani to take initiative to open state office at general manager (GM) level in Chhattisgarh.
The CLSUS president Harish Kedia informed that his association would felicitate Warlyani a Udyog Bhawan Bilaspur at 8 pm on Saturday. The felicitation programme would be presided over by SBI’s regional manager R Radhakrishnan and special guest on the occasion would be Bank of India’s AGM PK Banerjee.
