The Seed and Agriculture Development Corporation (SADC) has fixed the rates of certified seeds for Rabi crops. The corporation has also fixed the rate of seeds to be distributed along with minikits by government departments. The corporation has fixed the rates of certified seeds only after deducting the grant funds given to the farmers under government’s various schemes. The farmers get Rs 300 per quintal distribution grant for buying certified seeds of wheat and Rs 1200 per quintal for certified seeds of pulses and oilseeds.
