BJYM demands basic facilities for Birgaon



Raipur, October 18, 2011

The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) has demanded from president of Birgaon Municipal Council (BMC)Dr Omprakash Dewangan to provide basic facilities in the area. In this connection, the members of BJYM led by their Raipur district president Sanju Narayan Singh Thakur on Tuesday reached BMC office to submit a memorandum with their eight-point demand to Dewangan, but in his absence pasted it on the door of his office.
The demands of the BJYM were - improve the road conditions of BMC wards, rid the entire region from insanitation, provide street lights, start beautification and development works, catch stray cattle, launch anti-larva campaign to prevent occurrence of diseases like malaria, filaria and dengue and provide potable water and repair leaking water pipelines.
The BJYM members who accompanied Thakur were BJYM Birgaon Mandal president Gajju Dewangan, organisation’s Raipur district vice president Jayant Singh, Sundar Dewangan, Sanjay Tiwari, Pintu Sen, Shafeeq Khan, etc.
